"My favorite thing about the moon is that it is mystical any way you slice it. At a perfect half-moon phase, something magical happens, the shadows over the craters and peaks come to life and draw out incredible texture that can't be seen during a full moon. This moon picture was shot on a perfect atmospheric evening and was planned and attempted through the course of years to be able to bring you this stunning final shot that will certainly be a centerpiece of any room.
